The national secondary school program is oriented towards developing the qualities and capacities that have been formed at the primary level. The program content is selected with an Active Learning approach to help students promote positivity, initiative, creativity and form skills in calculation, logical reasoning, analysis, and synthesis. Collaboration, practice, communication, group work... The program also helps students have initial understanding of professions and form a sense of career guidance to have appropriate study orientation at the high school level.

The learning outcomes are recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and are equal in value to degrees from public schools in the national education system.
